The S.A.K.C.  (South Arkansas Kennel Club) of Camden Arkansas was co-founded by Darleen Wheelington, Darla Stivers, Dr. Betty Rigby DVM, and Robin Vaughan in 1989 to bring purebred dog shows to South Arkansas. Knowing that dog shows are the 2^nd oldest sport next to Kentucky Derby, there was an obvious need for a club in South Arkansas.
